The kingdom borders the Atlantic Ocean to the west and the Mediterranean Sea to the north; it shares sea borders with Portugal and Spain. Morocco borders Algeria to the east and Western Sahara to the south.
The non-autonomous territory claimed by Morocco borders Mauritania in the Moroccan-controlled part of Western Sahara.
