India geographical location

India Inherits its name from a river, the Indus, located outside its borders. This river flows from the heights of the Himalayas and flows into the neighboring State of Pakistan.
India is determined on the northern side by China, Nepal and Bhutan, on the eastern side by Burma, the Gulf of Bengal and Bangladesh, on the southern side by the Strait of Palk and the Gulf of Mannar, and on the western side by Pakistan and the Arabian Sea between Sri Lanka and the Indian Ocean.

It consists of 7 territories which are as follows: the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagra-Haveli, Daman and Diu, Delhi and Laquedives.
India's most populous city is Mumbai, Kolkata, and Delhi. Delhi includes the capital and cities New Delhi, Madras, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Pune, Kanpur, Nagpur, Lucknow and Jaipur.

India is made up of the South and South-West regions where various industrial and service activities are located, these regions are becoming increasingly dynamic. These regions are the metropolises that enable this economic dynamism.
