To the west there is a vast sloping plateau, marked by a few mountain ridges, which reaches the central plains called Great Artesian Basin, Murray and Darling Basin, Lake Eyre Basin.
The Great Dividing Range in Australia borders Australia on the east side, separating a low coastal plain from the rest of the country. The Great Barrier Reef is the world’s largest coral reef stretching across greater Queensland.
